Canning for Beginners

Make Your Own Gift Bags

Create the perfect eco-friendly, reusable gift bag for the holidays, birthdays, or just because! A variety of fabrics will be provided to make two bags. Additional fabric will be available for sale. Some sewing experience required. Bring: scissors, pins/or clips, and a sewing machine (bring the manual, if you have it). Sewing Machines are available to borrow.

3D Printing and Design
with USM STEM
Ages: 12 - 17
Dip your toes into the world of 3D design & fabrication in this workshop designed for beginners. This session explores the world of additive manufacturing & the basics of computer-aided design. Participants will use 3D design software (TinkerCAD, Blender, FreeCAD, Fusion360) and slicing software (Ultimaker Cura, OrcaSlicer, Bambu/Creality slicer) during the session to design custom printable files.
Fox Printmaking
with Kayla Lovejoy
Learn the art of reduction printmaking. Blocks will be pre-stamped to give a basic outline of the design and make it easy to follow along. You will learn to carve, ink, and print your block. Experiment with different colors and techniques to create stunning cards to give as gifts. Everyone will leave class with 10-20+ prints and their carved block that they can use over and over again!
