Mosaic Memorial Stones
with Brigit McCallum
Is there a person, a pet, a place, a part of yourself – that you would like to celebrate with a Mosaic Memorial Stone? Bring any level of mosaic experience and join with others in learning glass and tile cutting, shaping, and adhering to create a “Memorial Stone” on an exterior-grade surface – a paver, a slate tile, beach rock, or material of your choice. Skills to be taught include: planning a design, using tools to shape glass, tile, crockery, etc. for the design, adhering the tesserae (pieces of stuff) to the substrate (your surface) with silicone glue, then grouting and finishing the piece. (Some work time at home between classes may be needed.). No class 11/3.

Let's make sure your furnace is in working order, your pipes are insulated, and other projects to keep your house running during winter. Bring a notebook and pen and your questions about winterizing your home.
Beginner Crochet

Learn the basics of crochet! This class will teach you the foundation stitches of crochet includeing chain stitches and single crochet that you can use to make a hat in various sizes. You will need to bring a skein of worsted weight yarn and a US size H/8 crochet hook. Materials list available upon registration.
