Bring any level of mosaic experience and join with others in learning glass and tile cutting, shaping, and adhering to create a “Memorial Stone” on an exterior-grade surface – a paver, a slate tile, beach rock, or material of your choice. Skills to be taught include: planning a design, using tools to shape glass, tile, crockery, etc. for the design, adhering the tesserae (pieces of stuff) to the substrate (your surface) with silicone glue, then grouting and finishing the piece. (Some work time at home between classes may be needed.). No class 11/3.
