Youth Mattering Practices for Stronger Bonds and Social Connection

Dive into relational strategies that foster youth mattering. Experiencing mattering is linked with a significantly lower risk of considering suicide, substance use, and improved lifelong health outcomes. This work begins in early childhood education. Integrating discussion questions, participants will have an opportunity to learn the key ingredients of mattering and to practice mattering strategies with one another that they can bring to their work in early childhood education, caregiving, and community building.
