Discover how to strengthen your communication and buildmeaningful connections in this social skills program designed for current (age 18+) or former students of RSU57 Special Education/504 services, and young adults with ASD, or mental health diagnoses that impair socialization. Through engaging games, creative projects, and practical real-life activities, you’ll develop teamwork, active listening, conflict-resolutionskills, and much more.

No class 2/18 or 4/22

Learn more about teaching at RSU57 and go through the application process. Applicants who successfully take this class and are hired as a substitute earn an extra $5 a day.

Join us for an informational evening about the variety of job openings throughout the RSU #57 school district. Get information about Ed Techs, Transportation, Custodial Services, Operations, and more. Whether you're interested in supporting students in the classroom, maintaining the school's facilities, or driving a school bus, this evening will provide insight into the roles available and go through the application process.

The Maine Driving Dynamics course is a driver improvement course that is designed to improve a student’s defensive driving awareness. This five-hour course includes discussion of collision avoidance techniques, safety issues, driver habits and attitudes, and the basic elements that constantly challenge drivers on Maine’s highways. Our goal is to save lives, prevent injuries, and reduce vehicle-related crashes. A student who completes the course will receive a three-point credit on their driving record and may be eligible for insurance discount.

Find yourself asking the question, “How do you get home care services in Southern Maine for myself or a loved one?” We will walk you through the steps to access care in the community. This will also cover access to assisted living and long term care, age well programs, meals on wheels, Medicare, MaineCare, and healthcare power of attorney.
